MY FAMILY

My name is Tano and I am 32 years old. My passion for the radio is born from when I was child, from when my father gave me a couple of wolkie-tolkie and I remained surprised to listen far to the voice coming from (they were the local cb!!!!) what it reached my ears without threads. The passion is slowly grown in the years up to when in 1989 I have enrolled in the industrial technical institute with specialization in telecommunications. I have achieved then the diploma of expert in telecommunications in 1995. In 1998 I have achieved the ham licence of "B" class could operate only in the VHF and UHF bands. In 2004 I have decided to achieve the licence of "A" class to be able to also operate in the HF bands. And it is from the moment in which my studies are initiated to achieve the licence of "A" class that my great passion was born for the telegraphy. From that moment I have operated only and exclusively in CW. Contemporarily my passion was born for the contests where I have learned the techniques and the makeups thanks to two old friends of mine contester (IK8UND & IK8HCG). I have gotten married in 2004 the great love of my life, Olimpia, and from our love, in 2005, the little Sarah (I hope future ham) was born. I want to thank for everything this, my wife Olimpia that has never created obstacles to my hobby. She has always given me the whole liberty to give above all space to my great passion when I sacrifice my free time to my family to devote me to the radio and the contests.
